Install an appropriate number of prepaid sub-meters for each property, ensuring that the primary meter from your power supplier is maintained to monitor the main electricity supply.

Sub-meters should only be installed by a certified electrician, ensuring that all work is in accordance with the BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations). For sub-meters that are registered with Kilowatt Prepaid, they must be situated at a location that is downstream or below the position of the main power supplier’s meter.
